Job Description Contract and Performance Manager – In-Service Programmes Full Time Derby (Raynesway/ Wilmore House) Hybrid (3 days per week in the office) What you will be doing This role sits within the Submarines Services business, where we work closely with our customer, the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), to protect the UK’s submarine programme and ensure the UK has the capability it requires to meet the mission demands of today and tomorrow. The successful Contract and Performance Manager candidate will report to the In Service - Head of Programme and has line management responsibility for the Contract and Performance team. The key accountability is to lead the contract and performance management of the Rolls-Royce Services Programmes through a comprehensive project controls system that meets internal and external customer expectations. Responsibilities You’ll lead and motivate the Contract & Performance Team to operate at the highest standards and deliver exceptional service by engaging the team in our mission and developing them to be the best they can be. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and operating a rigorous project controls system, including risk and opportunity management, scheduling, change control, earned value management and cost control; ensuring these processes are compliant with organisational and contractual requirements. You’ll define and manage the standard for the project data held by the Control Account Teams, ensuring that data standards are in line with the programme’s contractual requirements to provide quality information to programme and customer reviews and reports. You’ll integrate with Control Account Teams across the Submarines business to manage process compliance and lead the projects standard diary to ensure performance management is delivered effectively and consistently across the breadth of our programmes. You’ll make sure we fulfil our contractual reporting requirements, ensuring all reporting is robust, compliant, and coherent; using report outputs to inform programme leaders of performance trends and areas of focus for action and improvement. Sound knowledge of Programme Management and Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP (MRP & PS, inc. GPD), Primavera P6, EVMS For Project and integrating these tools.
