Key duties:
* To carry out window cleaning in line with the correct specifications and health and safety standards.
* Update supervisor of any changes on site.
* Liaise with supervisor/line manager to review sites and review work on Jobber allocation system.
* Be punctual and attend for duty as requested.
* To achieve the highest standard of work, with a positive team spirit.
* To continuously develop and improve quality standards.
* To meet managers, clients, and company expectations.
* To respond to any reasonable request of the company or client.
* To ensure that products, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored.
* To use your initiative to resolve problems where appropriate.
* Ensure that your appearance and conduct comply with the expectations of the company and the appropriate clothing/PPE is always worn.
* Communicate any unresolved cleaning issues.
Knowledge and Experience:
Experience: The job holder will be required to have experience within cleaning.
Interpersonal Skills:
When dealing with client personnel and at all levels, the job holder must use tact and diplomacy to gain cooperation from client personnel and when dealing with visitors.
Responsibility:
Human Resource Management: The job holder is responsible for checking the quality of their work and supervising less experienced staff when required.
Physical Resource Management: The job holder is responsible for the care of tools, ensuring they are complete and properly maintained, whether property of the client or Pareto. Confidentiality is required on all matters related to Pareto and the client.
Communication:
Communication is primarily oral/written and internal, involving the site manager and client’s staff. The job holder will liaise with contractors and visitors as needed.
Liaison:
The job holder’s dealings with visitors and the media can affect the client’s image. They will also liaise with inspectors and governing bodies visiting the site.

Judgement and Decision Making:
Work is allocated to the job holder, who decides how to tackle tasks, often with specifications and team input. Routine decisions are made daily based on experience, initiative, or discussions with the client.
Original Thought and Problem Solving:
Many tasks require original thought. Problems are usually technical and solved independently, with occasional assistance from the Site Manager or client.
Concentration:
A high level of concentration is necessary, especially when working with machinery and adhering to safety guidelines.
Flexibility:
The role involves a variety of activities, with interruptions from internal sources. Tasks outside of normal duties may be assigned.
Working Conditions:
The job involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, requiring the assessment of personal risks related to machinery, noise, and pollution.
