The Role Overview:
This is a client facing role where youll be trusted to manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients across a range of sectors.
You’ll take a hands-on approach to understanding clients’ needs, providing tailored insurance solutions, and working closely with internal account handlers and insurers to deliver a high standard of service.
The business offers a collaborative working environment, clear progression opportunities, and genuine autonomy — this isn’t a rigid, KPI-heavy corporate structure.
Instead, it’s a brokerage that values experienced professionals and gives them the space to build strong client relationships without unnecessary red tape.
Main Duties:
* Building and managing a portfolio of SME and mid-market commercial clients
* Prospecting for new business via outbound activity, networking, and referrals
* Delivering tailored insurance solutions across commercial lines (e.g. property, liability, PI, motor)
* Preparing quotes, renewals, and providing ongoing client support
* Collaborating with internal brokers and underwriters to secure competitive terms
* Achieving and exceeding sales and retention targets
Key Skills Desired:
* A background in commercial insurance sales or broking
* Strong understanding of the UK commercial insurance market
* Proven ability to win new business and build long-term client relationships
* Confident communicator with a consultative, solution-led approach
* Cert CII (or working towards) is a plus, but not essential
