What You Will Do
* Conduct structural simulations, impact analysis, and optimisation studies to enhance the performance of powertrain components and vehicles.
* Perform crash and safety simulations for vehicle structures, battery enclosures, and restraint systems using LS-DYNA.
* Develop and refine finite element models with pre/post-processing tools like HyperMesh, ANSA, or similar software.
* Collaborate with design, test, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with global crash regulations and standards.
* Analyse data, present results, and deliver actionable design recommendations to internal and customer teams.
* Support knowledge sharing within the team and contribute to internal presentations and training sessions.
What You Will Bring
* A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
* Proven experience in structural CAE simulations, particularly for electric powertrains and batteries.
* Expertise in LS-DYNA and proficiency in tools such as HyperMesh, LS-PrePost, or ANSA.
* A solid understanding of crash mechanics, material modelling, and occupant safety.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively across disciplines.
