Location: Hybrid (3 days Remote working / 2 days Client site-based office)

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Risk Analyst to join our Project Controls team and play a key part in supporting one of our major infrastructure delivery clients. You will work closely with client teams, delivery partners, and project controls functions to support the successful delivery of risk management activities across a complex, large-scale transport and infrastructure programme.
This role will focus on supporting the management of risk systems, registers, reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement of risk management processes across the programme.

You’ll:
• Work collaboratively with client and delivery partner teams to coordinate and deliver effective risk management across the programme using agreed systems, tools, and templates.
• Support the maintenance, management, and continuous improvement of project risk registers and associated risk documentation.
• Assist project teams in regularly reviewing and updating risk information to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Collaborate with Risk Managers, Functional Leads, and Project Controls Managers to support reporting and wider risk management activities.
• Provide risk modelling support, including schedule and cost risk analysis using quantitative risk assessment tools and techniques where required.
• Analyse risk data to support reporting, KPI tracking, data quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the production of monthly risk reports, analysis, and performance metrics across the programme.
• Help ensure compliance with risk management processes and governance requirements.
We’re looking for:
Essential
• Experience working within a project controls environment.
• Experience supporting delivery teams on major infrastructure or construction projects.
• Experience using project controls tools and analysing project performance information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using modern tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage proactively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• A deliverables-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure and across multiple leadership styles.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across integrated and matrix teams.
Desirable
• Experience using risk processes, systems, tools, and techniques to support active risk management and reporting.
• Experience working on major infrastructure programmes using NEC contracts and within regulated environments such as highways, transport, or utilities.
• Experience facilitating workshops and meetings with project teams and producing structured outputs.
• Experience supporting or mentoring teams in the fundamentals of effective risk management.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Recognised project management or risk qualification such as APM or IRM.
• Experience using quantitative risk analysis tools such as @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran Risk, or ARM.

Requirements and Location:
• Full right to work in the UK
• Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week at the client site office and flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week
