Your role

Remuneration package
* A competitive salary and a £5,800 annual car allowance.
* Excellent benefits including a company pension contribution of up to 10%, private medical, a potential bonus and 25 days' holiday plus the bank holidays.
What You'll Do as the Engineering Manager
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will lead the transformation of a large engineering team in a unionised manufacturing facility. You will be accountable for plant availability, equipment performance, and overall engineering strategy. This hands-on role combines strategy with execution. You will drive the shift from reactive to preventive maintenance, set KPIs, manage budgets and capital projects, mentor your team, and strengthen integration between engineering and manufacturing to deliver lasting improvement.
What You'll Need To Apply
* Strong leadership skills developed in manufacturing, with a proven record of driving cultural change.
* Demonstrated success in delivering significant improvements to PPM and OEE.
* A hands-on approach, comfortable spending time on the shop floor and engaging the team.
* Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.
* Experience managing engineering and maintenance budgets.
