Alongside people leadership and operational management, you will bring practical experience from within an accountancy practice, enabling you to support the team, oversee financial workflows, and maintain service quality during the transition.
The emphasis is on calm leadership, operational oversight, and credible financial understanding, rather than purely technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day operational leadership within the practice
* Keep staff motivated, engaged, and focused during the transition period
* Oversee core practice workflows including management accounts and financial processes
* Act as a credible and calming point of contact for key clients
* Handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and discretion
* Ensure continuity of service and protection of client relationships

Candidate Profile
* Background within an accountancy practice (essential)
* Practical experience with management accounts and practice financial operations
* A confident, personable communicator — firm but fair
* Comfortable operating in politically sensitive or transitional environments
