As a UPS Service Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our strong reputation with our customers.
Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel however, all candidates will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Run the operations from receiving an order to dispatching the goods to the customers
2. Check delivery of inbound goods.
3. Managing the Delivery notes and emailing them to customers
4. Coordinating shipments and tracking invoice payments
5. Coordinating delivery schedules with our couriers and drivers
6. Monitor the level of inventory and report issues to management.
7. Oversee the management of goods for dispatch, including the required documentation and shipping labels.
8. Liaising with customers on delivery/visit schedule
9. Ensure Company Quality Engineering standards are kept
10. Conduct Site surveys to assess the work required to enable Quotations, Risk and Method creation and project planning.
11. Reviewing/storing technical reports and data.
12. Highlighting further site actions if required
13. Completing paperwork relating to site visits
14. Completing personal expenditure claims including, cash expenses, mileage logs and other expenses.
15. Showing initiative in the generation of income for the company.
16. Resolving any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly
Skills and Qualifications:
17. Strong Verbal and written communications Skills
18. Ability to act promptly and with intention to make things happen efficiently and effectively
19. Demonstrated ability to work well in collaborative environment and to communicate effectively with clients and end users
20. Self-directed/motivated
21. A Strong command of Microsoft Word and Excel
22. Commitment to providing great customer service with strong organisational skills
23. A proven track record of strong customer service working within a face-to-face customer service environment

28. Due to the nature of the role, we will require you to have a full UK driving licence
29. 2 Years experience within the UPS and standby Battery systems environment
Location: Royston/M4 corridor
Salary: £35,000
