Purpose
The purpose of the role is to support the Design Team at Tranmere with engineering drawings and documentation with both National and International projects, as well as implementing templates and updating drawings libraries to enhance efficiencies for future projects

Duties
To contribute fully to all aspects of the strategic framework, promoting the vision, mission and values of ENVEA UK
Engineering and Workshop
* Producing electrical and instrumentation drawings and documentation packages for issuance to customers, production, installation and commissioning teams.
* Updates and maintain AutoCAD/SolidWorks libraries and standards
* Scope for developing knowledge and understanding of CEMS and Gas Detection systems through technical support and training with Progression to Project Engineer role.
* Assisting Design Engineers, Systems Engineers and the Operations Manager to generate the relevant drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Creating drawing templates for the Engineering Department.
* Process design change requests and implement required changes into library drawings and documents.
* Strive for design excellence.
* To support activities as required by the Project Team.
* Any other reasonable request from management.

Qualifications
* Minimum NVQ 3 in Electrical Based Engineering or equivalent.
* Strong AutoCAD/SolidWorks knowledge and skills preferred. Experience in other 2D/3D CAD packages will be considered.
* Good electrical knowledge and understanding.
* Knowledge of instrumentation and process engineering.
* Previous experience with creating and controlling drawings and documentation.
* High level of computer literacy, including AutoCAD/SolidWorks, MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
* Working knowledge of how efficient design, project and admin offices should work.
* Highly organised and conscientious with a keen eye for detail.

The role is based at the office in Tranmere, Wirral but at times may require travel to other locations.
