This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at South Dartmoor Community College inspected by Ofsted as ‘Good in all Areas’. We are seeking to appoint a motivated individual to manage our Ashmoor Sports Centre at Ashburton. Ashburton is known as the ‘Gate Way to Dartmoor’, as you will see, the complex is set in a picturesque rural setting. The Ashmoor Centre is used by students and the public and facilities include a Gym, Sports Hall, Dance Studios, Tennis Courts, Golfing Range, Cricket Nets, vast grass sports pitches and our new, floodlit 3G Football pitch. The 3G pitch is regulated by the Devon FA and hired to local teams and community groups.
We are recruiting a Sports Manager to build on existing good relationships between the school and the local community. The Sports Manager role would suit an ambitious and motivated individual who is looking to progress into management. They will lead and develop the community sports offer, primarily based at South Dartmoor Community College.
Working hours are hours per week, 52 weeks per year, commencing with 26 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays. This job involves shift work within the following hours, Monday to Friday to pm and weekends am to pm (negotiable).
