Fixed-Term Contract We are looking for an additional Internal Medicine clinician to join our friendly and supportive team of seven specialists, one clinician and one resident. North Downs Specialist Referrals boasts a well-established multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with clinicians in diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dentistry, dermatology, oncology and neurology. You will ideally be a specialist in Internal Medicine although we would also welcome applications from residency-trained clinicians. The Internal Medicine department is fully equipped for all endoscopy procedures including flexible, rigid and disposable systems. Imaging facilities include a dedicated advanced imaging suite with Canon Vantage Elan 1.5T MRI and Aquilion Lightning 16-slice CT, and Philips Epiq 5 Ultrasound, Affinity Ultrasound, BV Endura C arm and mobile digital radiography unit and a Sound C-series static digital radiography unit. All imaging modalities are linked to a Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS). We also have a fully equipped in-house laboratory, and patient side monitoring.
