The role
As Marketing Manager within our Design Business Unit, you will lead the charge in driving marketing efforts for our suite of Design Solutions. These solutions streamline and optimise processes across the entire design lifecycle, from ground modelling and road and drainage design to traffic signing, road marking, and vehicle path analysis. Particular focus will be supporting our two main sales plays targeting the Drainage and Lining / Signing sectors.
You will report to the Head of the Business Unit and work closely with sales and product to define and execute a marketing strategy that effectively engages current and potential customers through diverse media platforms and targeted campaigns ensuring alignment between marketing activities and business objectives.
With commercial targets at the forefront, you will be responsible for tracking progress towards goals, analysing performance metrics, and clearly articulating how your marketing roadmap supports business success. Operating within a matrix structure, you'll be supported by a specialised shared services marketing team, enabling you to execute your plans effectively.
You will be results-driven, have strong collaboration skills, and a proven ability to deliver marketing strategies that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own the delivery of the marketing plan for our Design Solutions that will deliver against our key commercial and corporate objectives.
Build, maintain and coordinate your activity within our project management tool ) ensuring cross-functional visibility and efficiency within our team.
Build and execute prospect and customer email campaigns within our CRM solution (HubSpot), supported by our shared services team.
Own any field marketing or event requirements, with support from Brand team, that are specifically targeted to the Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and Personas prioritised for our Design Solutions.
Plan, coordinate, and execute webinars, with contributions from across the business.
Identify and then own opportunities to deliver content-driven SEO benefits to support your marketing objectives.
Create thought leadership strategies to increase brand awareness and recognition.
Develop an ABM plan to support a land and expand approach in our target customer accounts
Support Product team with release and relevant customer communications.
Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Sales leadership to ensure campaigns are successful, always with an eye to down-funnel metrics like opportunity conversion rates.
Build and maintain knowledge of the market and competitor information to ensure that Causeway always remains competitive.
Build a strong working relationship with Corporate Marketing, Business Unit leader, and Sales and Product managers for your portfolio.
Key Skills, Experience And Qualifications
The essentials we need from you:
Demonstrable and extensive B2B marketing experience working in a high-profile, fast-paced, results-oriented SaaS business at either a solution or product level.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field (not essential, but desired)
Ability to analyse market potential, assess competitive strengths/weakness, develop a segmentation and account strategy, and build an actionable, measurable plan.
Hands-on experience developing web and email content, webinars, blog, and sales enablement content.
Experience of using a breadth of marketing channels to drive and accelerate pipeline growth, build brand awareness, and improve customer experience/retention.
The ability to analyse the buyer journey and determine different strategies to effectively target prospects and customers along their buying process.
In-depth knowledge and experience in the use of CRM (HubSpot and Salesforce are our in-house solutions) to drive customer insight, manage data, identify segment opportunities, manage sales and marketing performance and adherence to process.
Knowledge of marketing principles and a strong understanding of current trends, best practice, strategies, legislation and industry standards relating to all relevant aspects of the marketing role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Design, Infrastructure or Construction tech experience is desired, but a candidate with a solid tech marketing background with ability to learn quickly and stay curious.
