Deputy Development Director
Salary: £60,000 - £73,000 per annum. Hours: Full‑time, 36.25 hours per week. Location: Central Cambridge, CB2.
The Role
* Support the Development Director in the management and running of the Development Office.
* Line manage and provide day‑to‑day office management for members of the Development Team.
* Oversee gift processing, data management, prospect research, regular giving, alumni communications, events, and alumni relations including career support.
* Conduct face‑to‑face principal gift fundraising and support relationships with existing and potential major donors.

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this role is £60,000 - £73,000. There will be a four‑month probationary period. The salary increases annually with the cost of living and will be subject to periodic review, benchmarked against equivalent roles within other education and collegiate roles in Cambridge. The post holder will be eligible for an annual bonus and free lunch on site on working days. They also offer membership in a defined pension contribution scheme, a Healthcare cash plan and free parking.
Hybrid working options are at the discretion of the line manager upon successful completion of the probationary period. Although flexible working requests will be considered, the normal expectation is that the staff member's principal place of work will be on site.
