Quality Inspector
Reports to: Quality Manager
Receives direction from: Quality Manager / Quality Engineer
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support their Quality Team in maintaining high standards of product and process quality. This role is key in ensuring compliance with Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements across both new product introductions (NPI) and established production lines.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Quality Engineer in developing CTQ checklists and control plans for both NPI and existing products.
Conduct quality inspections and in-process line audits in line with CTQ requirements, accurately recording any deviations.
Communicate inspection results and findings effectively to the Quality Engineer and relevant personnel.
Assist with the implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions.
Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or Quality Engineer.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of quality standards and manufacturing process requirements.
Experience in product and process auditing within a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015 principles.
Awareness of 5S workplace organization methods.
Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practices and controls.
Experience
Essential:
Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment as an Inspector or similar quality-focused role.
Desirable:
Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment, particularly with electronic products or assemblies.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
Friday: 07:00 - 12:00
Salary
Circa £13.79 per hour
This is an ongoing contract with a minimum expectation of 3-6 months
