Working within a Post-16 alternative provision setting, youll be teaching and supporting learners withEducation, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), many of whom benefit from personalised learning approaches. Youll join a team of skilled, passionate tutors who are committed to helping young people overcome barriers, build confidence, and develop both academic and life skills.

What You'll Do
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the unique needs of our diverse learners
* Help learners work toward key qualifications (e.g. Functional Skills, GCSE)
* Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and support needs, making use of differentiated strategies
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
* Collaborate with the wider team and contribute to cross-curricular learning opportunities
What We're Looking For
* A qualified and passionate English specialist with relevant experience and a desire to teach in an SEN setting
* Experience working with learners who have SEN/SEMH needs is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate
* Flexibility, creativity, and a commitment to making a difference
* Were especially interested in candidates who may also have experience or transferable skills in other areas we teach, such as Motor Vehicle, Construction Trades, PSHE, or Employability Skills. A multi-skilled approach is highly valued in our setting.
