Overview
We\'re looking for a passionate and dynamic Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our Rapid Response and Intermediate Care Team, working in the community and in-patient rehabilitation unit. You\'ll work closely with a team of Occupational Therapists and collaborate with Physiotherapists, Nursing and Support Worker colleagues. If you are a final year student due to qualify, we can support you with our preceptorship scheme that helps you into the team within your first year of qualification. The service operates 7 days a week, 8am–8pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities
* Undertake 6-month rotations into Intermediate Care, Rapid Response and the In-patient Rehabilitation Unit
* Complete holistic initial assessments with patients
* Devise treatment plans in line with patient goals
* Liaise with family members/relatives and carers
* Implement and deliver treatment interventions
* Complete follow-up review visits with patients
* Delegate to support worker colleagues
* Attend and participate in clinical meetings, team meetings and in-service training
The Ideal Candidate
* Hold a Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration
* Have a full driving license with access to a car
* Be motivated, innovative and adaptable, with the ability to work flexibly across specialities as needed
* Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
* Be confident using IT systems and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Package Description
Salary: AFC Band 5.1 £29,970 per year with NHS Pension and full Agenda for Change terms and conditions.
