A well-established legal practice is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their busy Private Client Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated solicitor with a proven track record to contribute to the growth and success of the team while delivering excellent client service.
What You’ll Do
1. Support the ongoing development of the Private Client Department and help grow the client base through exceptional service delivery, local connections, and participation in networking events
2. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and referral sources
3. Take financial control of your own matters, including managing cash flow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures
4. Identify and develop fee-earning opportunities proactively
5. Manage your own work allocation, processing cases efficiently and cost-effectively
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files using case management systems
7. Demonstrate strong organisational skills and IT literacy
8. Be commercially aware, understanding business targets and their impact on the practice, while consistently generating fee income in line with agreed goals
9. Support the development of assistants and paralegals within the team
10. Handle client enquiries professionally, whether face-to-face, remotely, or by telephone
11. Maintain a firm and functional knowledge of Private Client law, keeping up to date with legal developments and changes
