We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Dedicated Customer Professional, based at our European Head Office in Gravesend, Kent, supporting our Portugal customers. Joining us on a permanent basis, Monday to Friday (Portugal Hours), you will receive a competitive salary.

As our Dedicated Customer Professional, you will build strong relationships with customers over the phone, oversee all orders, liaise with colleagues to ensure timely deliveries, and handle all customer inquiries.
Responsibilities as Our Dedicated Customer Professional
* Manage and oversee customer deliveries for all our Portugal customer base.
* Be the first point of contact for all customer requests, responding within agreed timeframes.
* Proactively communicate to keep customers informed.
* Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, including weekly courtesy calls with key customers and internal account managers.
* Take ownership of challenges and follow through to ensure delivery as promised, collaborating with colleagues to represent the voice of the customer.
* Investigate complaints, monitor, and implement preventative measures.
* Challenge processes to ensure continuous improvement.
* Process customer orders and verify colleagues' order entries.
* Resolve customer complaints promptly.
* Understand, communicate, and process promotional deals.
* Contact customers who order regularly but haven't ordered within their usual timeframe or outside their usual buying patterns.
* Proactively inform customers about current offers and products they are not purchasing.
Essential Skills Required
* 2-3 years of experience in a demanding customer service environment.
* Fluent in European Portuguese.
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced).
* Ability to work in a fast-changing, dynamic environment.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
* Active listening skills.
* Ability to deliver difficult messages positively.
* Ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
* Process-driven with the ability to adapt and utilize processes effectively.
* Proactive attitude.
Desirable Skills
* Additional languages, particularly Spanish.
* Experience with SAP and Salesforce.
* Experience in handling complaints through to resolution.
* International business experience or understanding.
