This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before starting in the role.

Role Responsibilities
1. Assess and treat a diverse range of paediatric and adult patients in General Practice, utilizing high levels of decision-making and clinical judgment.
2. Ensure patient health needs are met through diagnosis, management, and review of patient conditions in partnership with patients and families.
3. Provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives. The ANP role includes being an expert clinician, educator, innovator, and auditor.
4. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary general practice team to meet patient needs, support policy development, and provide nurse and clinical leadership as required.
