GSL Education are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive and inclusive school in Lincoln. This role is ideal for an experienced and compassionate individual who has previously supported pupils with SEMH and SEND needs.
The Role:
* Supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Providing targeted support for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
* Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Assisting the class teacher in adapting learning materials to meet individual needs
* Promoting a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience working with SEMH and SEND
* Be confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
* Be patient, resilient and empathetic
* Be available full-time (Monday to Friday)
* Be passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their potential
