We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our kitchen team as a kitchen assistant.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· To ensure that all dishes are cleaned to the required standards and correctly stored after cleaning.
· Ensuring that all kitchen equipment and materials are maintained in a safe, clean and efficient condition and reporting to the Kitchen Manager where such any item of equipment requires repair or replacement.
· To comply with COSHH & Infection Control regulations
· Basic food preparation alongside the cook
. To understand the need to promote the privacy, dignity, independence, choice and rights of all clients, treating everyone with respect.
· To maintain Company records appropriately
· Any other tasks as required
Experience and Requirements
· Flexible
· Can do attitude
· Excellent communication skills
· Enjoy working in a team
· Good knowledge of basic food hygiene
· Previous experience of working in a care environment would be preferable however it is not essential as full training will be provided
· Enthusiastic and motivated
Shift pattern will be discussed at interview however you will be required to work every other weekend
