Permanent Kitchen Assistant

Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: £18,283 (per annum). (subject to term time adjustment). The salary
stated will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement
of employment outside of the start date of 1st September.
Part Time: 39 weeks. Hours: 32.75 (part time). Salary: Grade 1 SCP 2.
Monday & Wednesday - 6.30 am to 2.15 pm
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - 8.30 am to 2.15 pm
The Governing Body of Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School wishes to appoint a Permanent Kitchen Assistant to start as soon as possible
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Setting up and clearing away equipment and utensils
• Supporting the Catering team as required
• Following food hygiene, health, and safety procedures

• Takes pride in keeping areas clean and organised
• Is willing to undertake training (e.g., food hygiene certificate)

You will be required to undertake training of basic food hygiene and attend training courses relevant to this post (which will be organised by the school).
