City centre office Competitive salary dependant on experience Permanent role Established team Ideally looking a candidate with the following skills Processing sales and purchase invoices, payments, income, and receipts, and entering data into accounting software. Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash to ensure accuracy. Preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with regulations. Assisting with payroll processing and managing employee expense claims. Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Assisting with the preparation of monthly or management accounts and year-end accounts for review by accountants. Liaising with clients to obtain information, resolve queries, and ensure compliance. Organising and managing financial documentation and filing systems. Qualifications It is not necessary for the candidate to be educated to degree level or to have studied for an accountancy degree A qualification such as accounts technician would be useful but not required for the position Main Duties Preparation of accounts jobs Bank reconciliations VAT returns CIS returns Preparation of wages calculations. Preparation of ad hoc letters and reports Bookkeeping & reconciling Other Ability to work in a team Good communication skills Customer relationship experience is preferable as we are in constant contact with our clients Proactive mind set Ability to think creatively to bring new ideas in the way we do things.
