Job Description
3. Lead the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
4. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
5. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
7. Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
8. Manage cash flow, investments, and funding strategies.
9. Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.
10. Drive continuous improvement across all finance operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Head of Finance should:
11. Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
12. Proven senior-level finance experience in the NFP sector (international or social entreprise)
13. Significant all-round accounting, full grants cycle management, compliance, risk and financial sustainability experience
14. Strong knowledge of strategic business planning
15. Direct exposure of financial reporting to a Board of Trustees and major donors
