What You'll Do:
As an Engineer in V&V Events, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and delivery of vehicle validation activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Vehicle Readiness: Ensure vehicles are prepared and ready for validation events.
In-Event Assessments: Lead assessments during events, driving lead vehicles, and identifying customer-relevant concerns.
Detailed Planning: Develop and manage event itineraries and drive plans in collaboration with the technical team.
Issue Tracking: Coordinate vehicle preparation, concern reporting, and validation of fixes for future assessments.
Continuous Improvement: Apply a mindset focused on ongoing enhancements to processes and outcomes.Who You Are:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Experience in system testing, validation, or verification engineering.
Hands-on experience with dynamic and static vehicle testing, including familiarity with proving grounds and test protocols.
Driving proficiency with a full UK driving licence and the ability to drive pre-production vehicles confidently.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, diagnostics, calibration, and quality teams.
Excellent documentation and reporting skills to clearly communicate test results and validation outcomes.Your Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. ideally
Familiarity with vehicle systems (powertrain, chassis, ADAS, infotainment) and their interactions.
Knowledge of test instrumentation and data logging tools.
Experience with test planning tools like Excel or JIRA.
