We’re looking for a Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our team in Spalding, Lincolnshire on a permanent basis. Are you a seasoned HR professional looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We're seeking a Senior P&C Advisor to be the primary People & Culture contact for our UK operations, working collaboratively across our Spalding and Kings Hill sites. This pivotal role is best suited to an experienced HR professional with comprehensive generalist HR experience. You'll be instrumental in delivering a wide range of HR services and initiatives that align with our global and local strategic objectives. This isn't just an advisory role; you'll be actively supporting our warehouse, factory, and corporate office environments, ensuring the consistent application of People & Culture policies and procedures across all business units in the UK. Beyond the day-to-day, you'll have the exciting opportunity to get involved in various project work and drive engaging wellbeing initiatives. Responsibilities include: Working as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing critical, legally compliant HR guidance and acting as a coach on complex employee relations issues. Drive end-to-end support across the entire employee lifecycle, fostering a consistent and inclusive culture and helping to shape a positive workplace culture. Partner with L&D and site management to identify and address training needs, contributing to a highly skilled workforce. Play a key role in the full recruitment cycle, collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team to support with job descriptions, seamless onboarding and valuable exit interviews. Guide managers and employees on compensation and benefits matters and conduct salary reviews to ensure competitive packages. Champion employee wellbeing by partnering with experts and analysing data to enhance employee wellness resources and services. Provide guidance on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) best practices, analysing data and partnering with external organisations to make recommendations for improvement. Contribute to optimising P&C processes, maintaining meticulous records, and ensuring robust compliance with employment laws. Stay ahead of HR trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the business remains compliant and forward-thinking. Gain comprehensive generalist HR experience across advisory, training, recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, wellbeing and DEIB. Requirements Essential Previous experience in a similar Human Resources Advisor position. Experience gained within FMCG/food production or within a produce/manufacturing environment. Ability to commit to the role on a hybrid basis at our Spalding site, including travel to our Kings Hill head office monthly. Proficient knowledge of UK employment law. Extensive experience of ER and managing complex cases. Experience of managing/supporting on successful HR projects that deliver change. Experience of working within a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including stakeholder management. Experience in the design and delivery of basic HR up-skilling programmes for people managers.
