Internal Sales Manager
Location: Gloucester
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities of an Internal Sales Manager:

Lead, mentor and support the Customer Service team to drive performance and engagement
*
Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data and implement improvements
*
Identify, document and maintain departmental processes and procedures
*
Provide regular performance and activity reports to the Sales Director
*
Act as a key point of contact for customers via phone, email and WhatsApp
*
Ensure accurate and timely order processing
*
Resolve customer queries and escalate complex issues where required
*
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and identify service improvements
*
Develop strong product knowledge to provide accurate information and guidance
*
Support Area Sales Managers with quotations and order management
*
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
*
Conduct outbound calls and follow up quotations to generate new business
*
Oversee the distribution of sales literature and support business development activity
Key Skills of an Internal Sales Manager:
*
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role within a customer support environment
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
*
Experience using CRM systems
*
Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor data and identify trends
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
*
Knowledge of customer service best practice (desirable)
*
Experience within a product-based environment (desirable)
*
Ability to multitask, work independently and take a proactive, solutions-focused approach
