Contract: Full-time, long-term
Daily Rate: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role
A warm and welcoming primary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting young children as they take their first steps in education, helping them to develop key social, emotional, and academic skills.
The successful Early Years Practitioner will work as part of a supportive and experienced EYFS team, contributing to a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS framework.
2. Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality early education.
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment through play-based activities.
4. Observe and record children's progress to support next steps in learning.
5. Promote communication, independence, and wellbeing among pupils.
Candidate Requirements
6. Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
7. Previous experience as an Early Years Practitioner or in a nursery or reception setting.
8. Passionate, caring, and patient approach to supporting young learners.
9. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
10. Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practices.
