The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Advisor to join our team in Tonbridge. This is a fully office-based role with a strong focus on trade counter and incoming enquiries, providing first-line technical support by phone and in person, while driving sales across our specialist product range.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line technical sales advice via telephone and face-to-face at the trade counter
* Advise on structural waterproofing systems and associated building products
* Prepare quotations and recommend compliant, practical solutions
* Liaise with external supply partners on pricing and technical queries
* Identify and develop sales leads for the specialist contractor network and update internal systems
* Support customers across systems including: Internal & external waterproofing membranes; Cavity drain membrane systems (CDM; Liquid-applied coatings and deck waterproofing; Damp proofing and ground gas protection; Concrete repair and injection systems; and Clean and grey water pumping solutions.
* Build strong working relationships with contractors, engineers, and specifiers
* Manage daily trade counter sales and enquiries
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Construction sector
* Strong knowledge of structural waterproofing systems
* Experience in trade counter operations and face-to-face customer support
* Proven ability to provide technical advice both in person and over the phone
* Strong IT skills, including ERP systems (ideally NetSuite) and CRM systems
* Must commute daily to Tonbridge Head office.
* Full, clean UK driving licence
