As a Domiciliary Care Branch Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and driving the operations of an exciting new branch in Weymouth, Dorset. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of home care services in the area while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care. Your role will involve overseeing all aspects of the branch's operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a dedicated team of professionals. With a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction, you\'ll play a pivotal role in improving the lives of those who rely on care services to maintain their independence at home.
Responsibilities
 * Leadership & Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and inspire a high-performing team of caregivers, nurses, and administrative staff. Foster a positive and supportive work environment, setting clear goals and encouraging professional development.
 * Operational Excellence: Manage client intake, scheduling, and care planning to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to drive branch success.
 * Client Focus: Build strong relationships with clients and their families, conducting assessments and developing tailored care plans. Address client concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and well-being.
 * Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Conduct audits and inspections to maintain the highest standards of care.
 * Community Engagement & Business Development: Develop relationships with referral sources, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to promote services. Participate in local events and networking opportunities to build awareness of the branch.
 * Risk & Resource Management: Conduct risk assessments, ensure staff training on safety protocols, and manage resources effectively to maintain financial sustainability.
Qualifications
 * Proven experience in a management role within domiciliary care (essential).
 * Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance requirements.
 * Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a passion for team development.
 * A strategic thinker with business acumen and a track record of achieving growth.
 * NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
 * Full UK driving license.
