Join to apply for the Neonatal Registered Nurse role at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust
Are you passionate, dynamic, enthusiastic, well-organised, and eager to join our team?
Would you like a better work/life balance with the nearest beach just 15 minutes away? If so, we are looking for you!
Our Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) is a busy Level 1 unit providing 10 cots, including 2 HDU cots, 4 Special Care cots, and a 4-bedded Transitional Care Service.
We care for babies and their families from 32 weeks gestation, providing stabilization for babies born earlier or critically ill term neonates before retrieval by the Peninsula Neonatal Transport Team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, innovative nurse to work effectively within our ward team. You should possess an RN, RSCN, RN Child, or RM qualification.
Completion of Neonatal Modules is desirable, but willingness to work towards them is acceptable. Experience in a neonatal environment is also desirable, including recent student placements.
We welcome applications from nurses in adult areas wishing to transfer their skills to a neonatal setting. We offer a supportive, friendly environment with the neonate and family at the centre. The unit operates an 11.5-hour shift system covering days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
You will join a passionate team committed to providing safe, high-quality, compassionate care.
