Broadreach Recruitment is supporting a highly respected, design-led bespoke joinery business in the appointment of a Head of Commercial.
This is a senior leadership role focused on driving sustainable commercial growth within a craft-led, detail-driven environment. The successful candidate will bring structure, energy and commercial clarity to the sales pipeline while working closely with design and production teams.
This is not a corporate volume-sales role. It requires intelligent persistence, commercial discipline and respect for craftsmanship.
The Role
You will take ownership of commercial performance and revenue growth, ensuring opportunities are proactively progressed and converted into confirmed work.
You will:
* Drive sales performance and deliver agreed revenue targets
* Manage and progress all live sales opportunities with urgency and structure
* Identify and convert new business within the high-end bespoke market
* Lead client relationships from enquiry through to contract completion
* Represent the business professionally with high-net-worth clients and consultants
* Own and maintain the CRM system and sales reporting
* Produce accurate pipeline and forecasting reports
* Lead pricing structures, proposals and contract documentation
* Oversee milestone-based invoicing and cashflow follow-up
* Bring commercial rigour and process discipline to the client journey
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Proven senior commercial / sales / business development experience
* Demonstrable track record of revenue growth
* Strong CRM, pricing and commercial reporting experience
* Highly organised with strong sales administration discipline
* Confident influencing high-value clients
* Excellent written and verbal communication
Highly Desirable:
Experience within bespoke, high-end, design-led or craft-based industries
Experience working alongside creative or technical teams

Circa £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus
