Location: Pembrokeshire Bridging Hub and Pembrokeshire Schools
Contract: 1-year fixed term
Salary Grade: 7 – £32,061 – £35,412 pro rata (32.5 hours per week)
Job description
The Lead Tutor will lead the day‑to‑day running of the new Support Hub for children and young people struggling with anxiety, EBSA or school non‑attendance. They will oversee delivery, supervise a HLTA, and deliver personalised programmes that build confidence, life skills and social development. The role requires close collaboration with schools, families and partners to support reintegration wherever possible.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily running of the Support Hub.
- Oversee day‑to‑day delivery and supervise a HLTA.
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and group interventions.
- Monitor progress of learners.
- Work closely with schools, families and partners to support reintegration.
- Build confidence, life skills and social development for young people.
Qualifications and experience
- Strong experience supporting learners with anxiety, EBSA or additional needs.
- Excellent communication skills and a nurturing, flexible approach.
- Confidence in designing and delivering tailored 1:1 and group interventions.
- Monitoring progress of learners.
