We are seeking an Apprentice Panel Beater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in cars and putting in the work to give them a good repair, with experience in using various tools and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and repair.
Duties
* Perform panel beating and finishing operations on cars and other materials to achieve desired surface quality.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and grinding equipment effectively to complete tasks.
* Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure seamless assembly of components.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
* Assist in tooling setup and adjustments as necessary for various projects.
* Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) when required for automated processes.
Qualifications
* Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to polishing tasks.
* Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
