The Opportunity An opportunity has arisen with a major UK infrastructure programme to lead the engineering data and BIM workstream on a nationally important project supporting the UK’s Net Zero ambitions. This is a senior role with real influence over digital engineering standards, systems and behaviours across the project lifecycle.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles BIM Manager, Digital Engineering Manager, Engineering Data Manager, Information Management Lead, Configuration Manager, PLM Manager, Systems Engineering Manager, Design Integration Manager, Digital Transformation Lead, Engineering Information Manager.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Act as the primary engineering authority for BIM, information management and engineering data across the project.
Lead the definition, implementation and governance of digital engineering requirements, including Employer’s Information Requirements.
Enable a fully compliant 3D collaborative design environment in line with UK information management standards.
Bring together internal teams, delivery partners and the wider supply chain to align on BIM strategy, standards and ways of working.
Manage team performance, workload, risks and opportunities while contributing to the long-term digital engineering roadmap.
You will have the following qualifications and experience
A degree in an engineering or scientific discipline with extensive post-graduate experience in complex engineering environments.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 and best practice information and data management standards.
Hands-on experience working with 3D design, BIM or PLM platforms across the engineering lifecycle.
A strong grasp of configuration management and end-to-end engineering delivery on major programmes.
The ability to break down complex technical challenges and communicate clear, practical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
