Role Overview:
As a Forklift Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, and technical support for a range of equipment within the Derby area. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure our clients' equipment operates at optimal levels, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on forklift trucks and related equipment.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
* Performing installations and upgrades as required.
* Providing technical support and guidance to customers.
* Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records.
* Participating in on-call duties and responding to emergency call-outs as needed.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a field service engineer in one or more of the following areas: forklift trucks, agricultural equipment, construction plant, military equipment, or motor vehicles.
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
* Full UK driving license.
