Role Description
To be an integral part of the kitchen team, delivering exceptional standards of food and customer service while adhering to legislative and compliance guidelines.
The Role
1. Cook to a high standard following all specifications and HACCP procedures.
2. Be part of a motivated kitchen team.
3. Ensure the smooth operation of the pastry section.
4. Maintain high food and hygiene standards.
5. Follow instructions from senior team members.
6. Maintain hygiene standards set by the company.
7. Complete Kitchen Cooksafe documentation accurately.
8. Clean and store equipment properly.
9. Assist with end-of-shift clean down.
10. Report complaints or accidents per company policy.
The Person
1. Basic food hygiene certification.
2. NVQ in Professional Cookery and Food Preparation (desirable).
3. Previous Pastry Chef experience preferred.
4. Understanding of HACCP, COSHH, and Health & Safety regulations.
5. Ability to follow recipes and specifications.
6. Problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
