Role Overview
As a Civil Engineer you will play a pivotal role in delivering major water and wastewater non‑infrastructure projects. You will support the design, construction and maintenance of water infrastructure, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high‑quality design across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
* 1 to 4 years of civil engineering design experience, preferably within the water or wastewater sector.
* Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
* Strong understanding of water engineering principles, hydraulic systems and infrastructure design.
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as COM regulations and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Professional licensure or chartered status is desirable.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a willingness to work towards chartership with ICE, CIWEM or loW.
* Proactivity, responsibility and multitasking are key skills for the role.
