WMC RECRUITMENT is currently looking for Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join an amazing team at Dartford, providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. This role requires strong leadership skills and the capability to manage a classroom while fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted.

Duties

* Follow the nursery safeguarding procedure to ensure all children are kept safe, well and secure.
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Keep records of your key childrens development and learning journeys and share these with parents, carers and other key adults in the childs life
* Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods.
* Support childrens emotional well-being by providing comfort and encouragement as needed.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
* Respect the confidentiality of all information received.
* Drive initiatives that promote a positive nursery culture and enhance children's learning experiences.

Requirements

* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a small team effectively.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences within the nursery setting.
