The Environmental Performance Analyst will support the Environmental team by providing analytical insight, performance tracking and regulatory intelligence across the environmental and energy portfolio. The role holder will strengthen data quality, delivery oversight and awareness of external developments to support informed decision-making and effective governance. You will work across energy, carbon and wider environmental topics, you will support environmental reporting and disclosures, track progress against environmental initiatives, monitor regulatory and policy developments and generate insight to inform strategic and operational priorities. You are confident working with data, research and performance information and you enjoy identifying patterns, risks and opportunities. You are comfortable supporting the team, working across functions and communicating insight clearly. You take a structured, disciplined approach to tracking delivery and are motivated by helping teams meet environmental commitments in a credible and well-governed way. For this role youll need to have: • Experience in an analytical, environmental, energy or sustainability-related role • Good understanding of energy, carbon and wider environmental topics • Experience working with data, reporting or performance metrics • Strong research and horizon-scanning capability • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills • Strong written communication and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines Experience in these areas would be helpful: Energy Management and Environmental Regulations Reporting Supporting and leading projects Analytical insights About us In 2025, Coventry Building Society purchased The Co-operative Bank.
