Job Title: Marketing Executive Reports to: Marketing Manager Purpose We are seeking a dynamic and detail-orientated Marketing Executive to support our marketing department in social media, event support and general marketing activity. You will develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that effectively promote the company’s brand, products, and services. This position is responsible for driving customer engagement, increasing market awareness, and supporting sales growth through creative campaigns, market research, and multi-channel communication strategies. Job Role As an integral member of the team, you’ll get involved across the full marketing mix. You’ll be as comfortable designing marketing literature or creating social media content as you are filming and recording podcasts or organising large scale exhibition stands. You’ll also enjoy turning your hand to writing SEO-optimised press releases or visiting customer sites to film and photograph equipment and that’s when you’re not mucking in elsewhere in the department as required. Key Duties and Responsibilities Recording sales leads into company CRM system Updating and posting news stories to company website Designing/updating marketing literature Creation of press releases Creation of social media content, including content repurposing Creation of e-mail marketing content Attending customer sites to obtain photography and video Working alongside team members to deliver high calibre stands at industry exhibitions Marketing automation – e-mail workflow planning and maintenance Planning and recording compelling podcast content Responding to customer enquiries via telephone, e-mail and website live chat facility Reporting to the Board on marketing performance What We Need You to Have Good understanding of office management and marketing principles Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software (knowledge of marketing automation software would be an advantage) and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Ads etc.) Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Excellent communication and people skills You should hold a Marketing or Business degree or CIM Professional Marketing Qualification (level 4 minimum) A full, clean driving license and your own vehicle is preferable The Package Up to £30,000 per year Full-time, permanent role 37-hour working week 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 16:30 Friday 1-hour lunch break 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Increased holiday entitlement with long service Long service awards Modern offices with excellent facilities Smart casual dress code Stakeholder pension scheme (salary sacrifice 4%) Employee benefits including private GP access, optical/dental cover, and physiotherapy Employee Assistance Programme and digital health platform Enhanced sick pay Critical Illness and Death in Service cover (4x salary) Cycle-to-work scheme Optional enhanced maternity/paternity support Monthly recognition and reward programme Employee referral bonus “Ministry of Fun” social activities funded by the business Based at Kingswinford, West Midlands
