About the role
Sulzer Aberdeen is expanding — and we're on the lookout for motivated apprentices who want to build a career in engineering, projects, and customer support. If you're curious, organised, and excited about working with real engineering projects across Scotland, this could be an ideal first step into the industry.
As an Apprentice Customer Support Engineer, you'll become the link between our customers and our technical teams. You'll help keep major engineering projects on track, spot opportunities, and make a real difference to how we deliver work. You'll work with experienced colleagues, grow your skills, and be treated as a valued member of the team from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
* Keeping customers in the loop: You'll update clients on progress, flag any changes early, and help keep everything running to plan.
* Supporting sales activity: You'll help manage the sales funnel, keeping information accurate and up to date.
* Teamwork at its best: Work alongside technical, quality, and operations teams to keep jobs moving and standards high.
* Coordinating suppliers: Partner with our Contracts Support Expeditor to ensure external services arrive on time and match the quality we expect.
* Working with real data: Use information from across the business to create accurate job costings, issue tenders, and support commercial decisions.
* Shaping the bigger picture: Get involved in strategy discussions, help analyse the market, and support your teammates as part of our Contracts Team.
