Advanced Clinical Practitioner for Endocrinology

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join the endocrinology team at GOSH.

As an ACP, you will receive comprehensive support to increase your knowledge base and
upskill in all thing’s endocrinology.
* Perform clinical patient reviews and management within your scope of practice.
* Run independent clinics and manage patient pathways and care, with a willingness to develop expertise in congenital hypothyroidism.
* Engage in teaching, non-medical prescribing, and research in relation to endocrinology conditions.
* Maintain databases and provide both acute and long-term care for complex endocrinology patients.
* Develop clinical protocols and care pathways.
* Contribute to evidence-based clinical practice through research, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Participate in delivering education both internally and externally.
* Engagement in both national and international initiatives.
* Provide advanced clinical care, including health assessments, treatment initiation, and monitoring of care programmes.
* Offer expert clinical leadership, advice, and support to ensure high-quality nursing and medical care.
* You are a highly skilled clinician with a passion for providing exceptional care to children and young people with endocrinology conditions.
* You are committed to continuous learning and development and capable of working autonomously as well as part of a dynamic team.
