Contract Business Analyst
We’re looking for a contract Business Analyst to join our Technology team within Connells Group for an exciting Telephony transformation project for an initial 5-month contract (Outside IR35).
We offer a hybrid working arrangement with 1 or 2 days per week in our Milton Keynes office and/or Wakefield.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor & Delivery Management: Act as the primary functional liaison between Connells Group and our 3rd party software supplier. You will challenge vendor estimates, clarify requirements before they reach development, and ensure "out-of-the-box" functionality is maximized to avoid unnecessary customization.
2. Process Re-engineering: Map complex "As-Is" operational workflows and design efficient "To-Be" processes.
3. Data Migration & Integrity: Lead the analysis for data migration. This includes defining data mapping rules between legacy systems and the new CRM, establishing data cleansing protocols, and ensuring data integrity is maintained during the transition.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Bridge the divide by facilitating workshops between business leads, internal and third party technical teams. You will ensure that physical distance does not lead to misalignment.
5. Backlog Ownership: Partner with the CAT Leadership to maintain a rigorous, technically feasible backlog. You will prioritize items based on technical dependencies and business value, ensuring the vendor has a steady stream of "ready" work.
6. Transition Management: Define the transitional requirements necessary to go live, including parallel running strategies, user training needs, and operational support models.
Experience & Skills Required:
7. Proven experience leading Contact Centre Transformation migrations involving external 3rd party vendors preferably in a financial services environment. You must be able to demonstrate how you managed vendor friction and delivery constraints.
8. Essential experience managing and coordinating with 3rd party suppliers and development teams.
9. Experience in working as an Agile Business Analyst as part of a fast-paced software engineering team.
10. Background in delivery of successful technology initiatives in customer facing industries.
11. Understanding of and experience of Scrum.
12. Strong knowledge of Jira Software and Confluence.
