Female Support Worker – Brain Injury Rehabilitation Location: Leicester, LE3 Salary: £12.75 – £14.25 per hour (DOE) Job Type: Self-Employed / Flexible (Part-time, Ad-hoc) Driver Essential: Yes Start Date: May 2026 Hours:Up to 30 hours per week Schedule: Flexible shifts between 10:00 am – 5:00 pm The Role We are seeking a proactive and organized Female Therapy Assistant or Support Worker to assist a 53-year-old female client in the Leicester area. This is a dynamic role focused on promoting independence, managing daily routines, and supporting physical well-being. The client is looking for someone who can offer a flexible schedule, as there is no fixed pattern to the days or hours required. Key Responsibilities * Active Support: Accompanying and supporting the client during swimming and PT sessions. * Home Management: Assisting with the decluttering and general tidying of the home environment. * Community Access: Providing support with shopping trips and other day-to-day activities. * Executive Functioning: Helping the client with timekeeping and staying on track with specific tasks. Requirements * Gender: This position is open to female applicants. * Start Date: The successful candidate should be available to start in mid-May 2026. Mandatory Requirements To be considered, candidates MUST meet the following criteria: * UK Experience: At least 6 months of UK-based support worker experience (within the last 3 years). * Licence: A full, clean UK Driving Licence and access to a car for work use. * Communication: Clear, fluent English is essential. * Status: Applicants must be willing to work on a self-employed basis. * CV: Your CV must clearly highlight your relevant experience and qualifications. Preferred Candidate Profile * Experience in Brain Injury (ABI/TBI), stroke,dementia or aphasia is highly advantageous. * Background in Psychology (Graduates are encouraged to apply) or as a Therapy Assistant, Rehabilitation Support Worker,Healthcare Assistants or Care Worker * Ability to work on your own initiative while being a key part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). * Strong organizational skills and basic IT literacy (Word/Excel).
