Parts Advisor – Deeside Depot
We are looking for a conscientious and enthusiastic individual to join a busy Parts Department at our Deeside depot. This is a hands-on role offering a varied and rewarding workload, working on an alternating shift pattern:

Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6am–6pm
*
Week 2: Tuesday to Friday, 6am–6pm
Reporting to: Parts Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
*
Identify, locate, and pick parts for workshop staff and customers using catalogues, stock lists, and electronic systems.
*
Receive, record, and correctly store incoming stock.
*
Collect returned goods and issue receipts.
*
Perform internal and external stock checks as required.
*
Process and record all casual parts and core units.
*
Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain the company vehicle.
*
Collect parts from other depots when required.
*
Maintain general housekeeping duties in the department.
*
Promote parts and accessories to customers, upselling where appropriate.
Skills & Experience:
*
Previous experience in a parts role or relevant industry/customer service experience preferred.
*
Numeracy and literacy to a level sufficient to manage parts documentation.
*
Ability to identify parts using catalogues and electronic systems.
*
Basic understanding of commercial vehicle construction.
*
Excellent customer-facing and interpersonal skills.
*
Competent in stock control systems and Microsoft Office.
*
Experience with Parts AS400 or similar systems is desirable.
*
Full, valid UK driving licence required; forklift licence advantageous.
