We are urgently recruiting 3 Cleaners to work at a special educational needs (SEN) school in Bury St Edmunds (IP33). These roles are available for immediate start and offer consistent hours.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* 16:00 – 18:30
* 12.5 hours per week
* Immediate start
* Ongoing until at least 30 April 2026
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards across the school, including:
* Classrooms and learning areas
* Toilets and washrooms
* Sensory rooms and specialist areas
* Corridors and communal spaces
* General duties including vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces and emptying bins
What We’re Looking For
* Previous cleaning experience preferred
* Reliable and able to commit to all shifts
* Good attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a school/SEN environment
Essential Compliance
* Enhanced DBS (with barred list) is required
o Ideally on the Update Service
* Right to work in the UK
* 3 years’ references
