ROLE- Technical Design Engineer
TERM- Permanent
They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their team in Andover on a permanent basis.
The Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
3 years’ or more of experience in a similar Mechanical or Electrical Engineering position
Ideally be experienced with HVAC, Systems or Building Services design
Experienced using 2D CAD software such as AutoCAD
Practical understanding of machinery, installation and commissioning
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal, fabrication and welded parts
Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Design, Engineering or similar
Proficient using MS Office
Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team
The Design Engineer role will involve:
Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
Being involved in final assembly of products
Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans
Updating 3D models and drawings
Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects
