Teaching Personnel is working closely with a primary and secondary SEN School in Preston that is looking for Teaching Assistants to join their team on a full-time basis. The school is nurturing and inclusive, dedicated to providing outstanding education and support for children with diverse learning needs. They pride themselves on a warm, welcoming environment and a commitment to helping every child thrive.
The Role:
The school is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Support Assistant to join their team. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support for children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils with their learning, development, and emotional well-being
* Assisting teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
* Providing one-to-one and small group support
* Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils
* Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals

* Experience working with children with SEN (desired but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with potential for a permanent role later.
