As Head of Bid Management, you will lead the preparation and submission of major tenders and contracts. Working closely with sales, product, and technical teams, you will design competitive, compliant, and compelling proposals that showcase the company’s strengths. This role is central to securing strategic projects and driving international growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the full bid life cycle, from qualification to contract handover.
2. Manage and develop a high-performing bid team.
3. Coordinate cross-functional input (Sales, Product, Technical, Finance, Legal) to deliver strong proposals.
4. Develop winning bid strategies aligned with client needs.
5. Monitor tender opportunities in maritime, logistics, energy, and environmental sectors.
6. Ensure proposals are timely, compliant, and commercially competitive.
7. Build and maintain a library of bid content and case studies.
8. Conduct competitor analysis and drive continuous improvement.
Profile
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with proven success in managing complex bids internationally. The ideal candidate combines project management expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure across teams. Experience in maritime, logistics, or tech-driven industries is an advantage.
Key Requirements:
9. 7+ years of experience in bid management or proposal leadership.
10. Track record of winning large and complex B2B or public tenders.
11. Strong knowledge of bid processes, procurement, and compliance.
12. Excellent written and spoken English; French strongly preferred.
13. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
14. Experience leading cross-functional projects under tight deadlines.
15. Passion for innovation and sustainability.
Additional Information
16. Location: Remote, within 2 hours of the French HQ (France, Scotland, Norway, Netherlands, or Northern Europe). Ability to travel to France one week per month.
17. Languages: Native or native-like English required; French is a strong plus.
18. Compensation: €80,000–€100,000 (currency adjusted to candidate location).
